A fairy creature that resembles a large black cat with a white spot on its chest. Known to roam the Scottish highlands, thought to steal the souls of the dead before they reached their gods by passing over the corpse before a burial. Some people also believe that they can turn into witches and vice versa.
Katie designed this art piece after reading about Scottish folklore and being fascinated with some of the spirits described. She tried to capture the moment of a cat sìth stealing a soul.
